Ce film est absolument magnifique !
Il montre que l'on oublie trop les anciens objet qui sont beaucoup plus faibles malgré leur âge.
Merci pour ce chef-d’œuvre !

I really liked the contrast between how the old and new robots looked. The top of the old robot looked like an old bellows camera while the new one was sleek and modern with anti-gravity instead of legs. I also appreciated the underlying message; that newer is not necessarily better. Well done!

Love the design of the old robot. Looks like it would fit in perfectly in a 70's household. lol

Interesting because it goes deeper than just about old vs new technology- it speaks to me about caring for the elderly too. Think about it- at some point someone gave her the robot as a gift (in the photo on the wall at the start) to take care of her. There are no family in the photos on her wall, no kids, grandkids, parents, siblings, friends, just pictures of her and the robot. He’s the only one she has an attachment to because he’s the one who took care of her. The ending gives an interesting thought to ponder because the ad is an embodiment of the lie that the people who abandoned her fell for, they removed her from their life when she became inconvenient and disabled. Notice how part of what intrigued her about the new bot was the promise of youthfulness and strength from the drink, she didn’t want to be useless, she didn’t want to feel like a burden or have to be cared for. Everyone is saying how cruel it would be to discard even a broken robot if it was loyal, loving, and had feelings?- isn’t that a perfect symbol of elderly family members and friends? Old and maybe broken but still full of love? Even if help is needed in caring for them, they should never be discarded or forgotten❤️ Not sure if this is what the animator was going for, but well done either way!

What a lovely little gem; the music was great, too.
One should never discard a loyal friend. 🤖

Her first robot is so much more advanced, it actually has feelings.

There's something to be said for both sides here. There's the innovation to be made in moving forward and improving our lives, bur at the same time there's wisdom and comfort to be found at looking at the old and familiar. It requires striking the right balance. Say repairing or upgrading the old robot one might have grown attached to.

Awwww❤ I think I understand this film. We're living with our grandma still. That's how we Filipinos are. HAHA And I think the old robot is a reflection of old people. We sometimes think our grandparents are no longer useful and a burden to us. They feel useless, in other countries, they even leave their grandparents to homes for the aged. But despite all these, our grandparents will always still be there for us, especially in times of trouble.

This was fun and cute! I enjoyed the rendering of the characters it was a cartoon style but you could really feel the emotion in the animation by the body languages and expressions of the characters.
