In the late 18th century, if you were very wealthy, you may have enjoyed one live performance of this remarkable piece. Thanks to YouTube, we enjoy a most superbly performed rendition. Free, and anytime we chose. What a day and time we live in, and most often take for granted.

Was hier genau von Mozart stammt, bleibt bis heute Vermutungen überlassen, doch mit Sicherheit kann ich sagen, dass es die beste Version dieses Werkes ist, die ich bislang gehört habe. Das Konzert ist vom ersten bis zum letzten Takt ein Hochgenuss sowie eine Freude, die Hingabe und Leidenschaft der MusikerInnen mit zu erleben. Es muss viel Probenarbeit geleistet worden sein, um solch eine homogene Darbietung ohne DirigentInn abliefern zu können, die nicht nur auf Präzision, sondern auch auf eine künstlerische Aussage hin ausgerichtet war. Wunderbar!
