WOW! This is powerful and it's an accurate reality of what it's like to be a chicken or any animal who gets crammed into a cage with other beings. Just being alone is terrible enough but to be crammed with so many others is hell.

Ever since I was little I always wanted to join The Humane Society of The United States and I still do because You guys are amazing. You care so much for all living things. you take care of sick, helpless, starving, blinded (etc.) animals. Thank you for doing your hardest for these animals. You're truly great and inspiring. ❤️

This is a truly heartbreaking thing. My father had the worst conditions ever for our chickens and after finding out about these poor babies I gave them the life they deserved my chickens now have a beautiful chicken coop, the entire farm to roam on, clean nests, daily food and access to water 24/7 and are cleaned out every week. I can not imagine how these poor chickens feel.

I have a pet chicken and I cry to think that some people think its okay to treat them like this..
They're like dogs, my chicken always comes over to me for attention and love and likes to sit on my shoulder when I'm cleaning the garden, she's adorable. 😊

Cage free is a step up from caged, but that doesn't mean that it isn't extremely crowded and dirty. "Free-range" or "organic" isn't all happy sunshine and fresh air either, sadly.

To be honest, I was at a camp and we were jammed pack in a stuck elevator and half of us didn't even know each other. What came out was a bunch of new numbers and a lit rap song we made up on the fly.

Publix was my first job following completion of high school. They hold themselves in high regards, but working nights I've seen some sheer wastefulness. There's such a large volume of both eggs and cooked chicken that just get thrown down the trash shoot (among other things). Not only are these cages absolutely barbaric, the sheer volume is completely unnecessary and these animals are raised, slaughtered, then never consumed.

My grandparents make sure to buy eggs by a certain brand that treats the animals correctly, and doesn't add any un-natural or artificial things into the food. I'm upset I can't remember the name of it, but it's alot cheaper then normal eggs
