I Made Baymax In Real Life

Hey everyone! Big Hero 6 was (and still is) one of my favorite movies as a kid, and I always wanted to build something from it. So, I thought it would be cool to make a mini Baymax in real life. This was definitely one of my hardest projects, but it was so much fun to make. Let me know what you think in the comments below!

You could make your own rubber balloon. Print a Baymax and dipe it in liquid rubber. This way you get an exact shape that only has to be inflated minimally with pressure. To get the printed model out of the balloon, you could use water-soluble filament.

I'm curious if you could 3D-print a solid version of the body, coat it in a rubber/latex/elastic coating, let it cure, then peel it off the form, creating a custom-shaped balloon. (It's actually how rubber gloves are made: You can look it up on youtube for inspiration).

The execution is one thing. The process is another, and that's what you're doing right. Robotics is about solving lots of problems chained together and when you change one thing, something else usually needs to change to compensate.
