Market Leader Review. BEWARE!

I have been a real estate agent for 9 years and used other lead generator companies. My experience with market leader has been a tough one, with the leads and customer service. Do not subscribe to market leader!

I worked at this company.

They basically wanted you to lie or be deceptive about how the leads were generated.

The people that did well there selling were high pressure salespeople who deflected objections without giving truthful answers.

Total boiler room type environment where there was such high turnover.

The real issue is there was such a large discrepancy between what the agent thought they were getting and what they actually received.

And the salespeople at market leader paint a picture about how it’s going to be so great and you’ll have all these exclusive ready to go buyers and sellers lol.

That’s not at all reality- plus the way they collect the information is like a force capture- meaning that many of the “leads” aren’t actually leads- they are just someone who happens to end up on the site- and they didn’t actually request more information- they were forced to put in an email just to view a property.

Very tough company to work for- sure occasionally agents would get a good lead- but statistically it was a bad financial decision- and so many agents wanted to cancel all the time.
