I really like the vids you do using your illustrations. Using the water bottle as a substitute for manually spraying the tank down is brilliant. Never seen anyone do that before. I always seem to learn something from your vids.

Stay healthy and safe!

Great video, easy to follow and nice and helpful illustrations. Never seen the dry start method done this way, but it makes a lot of sense and seems more efficient. Thanks for sharing

can you use a misting device in the bottle instead of the air pump?

Do I still need to water the plant even I do this?

Help needed. Did this setup in an empty tank as a test. The airpump is a small on that I already had. But after running it for a day I still don't see any condensation forming on the glass. Or for that matter the water level from the bottle does not seem to be reducing. What am I doing wrong

Would this deliver ferts too or just water?

What’s your experience with growing Monte Carlo plants particularly without pressurised CO2? Is it still achievable in a tank with ADA Amazonia soil and sufficient lighting without any CO2? I’m currently 4 weeks into growing it using the dry start method and would prefer not dosing CO2 if I can avoid it.

**Is the 2nd check valve leading from the bottle to the Tank itself necessary? what is it's purpose?** I have been using your system minus the 2nd check valve for about a week, and still having to spray the plants by taking off the cling wrap as they start to look dried out. I do see water droplets of water going up the 2nd tube line and coming back down. I have also introduced very little level of sitting water up to the lowest point of the tank with fertiliser. The plants are well above the water since they are on a higher slope of substrate. The tank rarely looks humid. Do I need to keep my room warmer?

If I do this exactly without the check valves, would it work the same?

Great channel by the way!

so... of course I have to be that guy. Would it be possible to do this with CO2 during the dry scape process? Instead of the air pump? I wonder if that would benefit the plants even more. I can't be the one to test it unfortunately, I don't have the equipment, but curious if anyone has thought of this.

Idk… I like to dose the water I mist my carpet plants with so they get the nutrients an carbon to keep them happy and thrive. For me this seems like it would keep them alive but take way longer to thrive. Idk I’ll try it out and edit this comment later if it went really well.

Due to the check valve my air stone cannot penetrate into the tank??

Is it bcause not enough power of the air pump?

Would this work if u dont intend to use co2?

What capacity is the bottle do you use? Does it last the entire 45 days or you have to re-fill it sometimes?
