adam really valued kylo as a character. he’s even said in an interview that he fought to make him seem more human in some scenes.
a damn crime they had him dedicate 6 years of his life to a character who gets no lines in the final act of tros and DIES after finally finding happiness in the arms of the woman he loves.

He said he didn’t know how the third movie ended yet. Sounds like he expected Kylo to end up as a redeemed character, and even though he is, they killed him 15 minutes later all without dialogue so there was no room to explore the actual character. Redemption isn’t an immediate thing, redemption includes atonement, and he’d realistically be atoning for a long time. I wish we could have seen what Adam could do with that, from an an acting perspective.

Adam is indeed a method actor, always in character between stunts, and the lightsaber fights he conducted alongside daisy is flawless, and epic.

The journey of Vader and Kylo is different...but the ENDING is the same. Redemption equaling DEATH. IF JJ truly wanted to create an ending to the saga than he should have let it's main character have an ending different from that of the prior Villian. Kylo/Ben should have lived. The saga then would have gone full circle for the Skywalkers.

I love acting of Adam and I believe one day he’ll deserve Oscar for the best actor he’s amazing actor and talented and intelligent artist! A future Legend!
