My grandma (64 years old) was born and raised in the Bronx. She always talks about her time in NY and how she loved it. This used to be her favorite song growing up and she just went through surgery a few days ago and now she's finally doing better and she's singing every word to this song. She said "that's why I love this song. It talks about my yesterday's and my childhood. All the places I visited and went to in NY it just takes me back and i will always adore this song"
