HOW TO SPEND A PERFECT SUMMER DAY IN ENGLAND// Happy Tuesday everyone, While Joerg and I were in Hampshire England we had the most glorious English weather and thought it so much fun to share what we really enjoy doing in summer here in England. We like to call it our own guide to slow living as other days are mostly so busy and we all need intentional living once in a while. We started by visiting Uppark House & Garden in West Sussex, a beautiful 17th century country house set in the glorious English countryside. From there we drove to Stansted Park Farm Shop to get some goodies for a lovely picnic in the shade. Then we visited the most beautiful churchyard in Blendworth and finally went back to Portsmouth for an alfresco dinner.

Yay!!! You Kirsten and Joerg are such darlings! What a joy to see this entry! Kirsten, the hat you wore is stunning on you and your parasol completed your beautiful ensemble. There is such beauty everywhere you turn. Loved the house tour, its kitchen, library and the doll house was beyond charming. The grounds, flowers and weather were picture perfect! The Farm Shop has an excellent variety of foods. Those strawberries, yummy cheese and chutney were good choices as were the lemonade and snackalomi! Greetings from very hot and very dry Las Vegas! Lovely video again from a lovely couple and I thought the Portsmouth area was charming! Like Joerg, I am fascinated by history especially British history. If you have time, I loved my trip to the Isle Of Wright and loved touring Osborne House and the great last home of Queen Victoria.
