I started following tottenham last year when big ange got the job. Its like deja vu. All the youtubers and podcasters were saying the same thing last year and all the no names from that window ended up dominating. This window basically says we wont win any trophies and will end up 5th or 6th again. If the club was serious about challenging for the FA, League & Europa cup we would have bought in a left back, Eche from Palace & Gallagher or a similar player in midfield plus signed Sterling or similar for competition for Johnson. Solanke fits Ange’s pressing style more than Toney but unless he scores 20+ this season we paid too much. Agree, its been an underwhelming window, just hope we perform better than the squad looks on paper.
