Wolborg 2 had a similar concept, but instead of a suction cup, it had a bearing rubber sharp, so the friction wouldn't affect it so much, and since it was a rubber tip, it could still spin by itself, conserving stamina and having the defencive benefits of a rubber tip

@nuc Quest with the suction cup is a pretty bad driver, but i once folded the cup to be more like the Mobius Driver in shape and it's performance really shines in being able to recover stability on contact, and fend off attacks. It didn't have th best stamina due to stability issue that could be fixed with today's parts, but the bearing in the driver really shined and allowed it to outlast plenty of other bey's on it's level, the suction cup is what holds it back the most.
