Leicester are leagues ahead of Everton

I’ve always said Pickford is a good keeper but he’s not going to be a top keeper because of his mentality. He’s not focused enough.

By all accounts Silva had three games to save his job, this is No 2 and he blew it, I really think its time to go back to the drawing board, This guy is a buffoon, Another con man, get shut before this season becomes a calamity

Brands bought Iwobi and Kean to start and play together. They did in one match, against Wolves, and won.

Personally I think its the Manager, He the one who set the pattern of play, how we set up at defending set pieces, our attacking play, bringing on substitutions etc. At home we the crowed push for the ball to be moved forward quickly and encourage the players, away from home they don't get that and seem content to hold onto the ball longer. Substitutions, well, they are awful, he never seems able to change the pattern of play just the players, its his big weakness!

I think that Silva is going to go, it’s a matter of when not start the search for a new one and if we loose to spurs a change is inevitable...

I have not been this embarassed to support Everton ever. Even in the darkest days of the Koeman era, I was ashamed, but never embarassed like this. We lack all sorts of fight and spirit. This is not the same team that I fell in love with. Enough of this mantra "we'll stick it through the tough times, " guys we're a dog-shite club now unfortunately. I think that the penalty absolutely screwed us BUT how do we then collapse completely? Where is any sort of backbone in this side? We haven't had one in years and it shows. I just simply can't believe it. When we get dumped out of the League Cup by Watford (Don't act like it isn't on all of our minds), we will be left as the laughing stock of the whole league. #COYB

Can’t really ever see Keane becoming a leader. Which is a shame because he works hard and is decent, but he’s not vocal and doesn’t display any real passion. I share your frustration, Baz

Top players have a strong self belief and dig in when the shit hits the fan. Problem with Everton, is that they have far too many players that dissolve under pressure. As for the three main culprits you mentioned, Pickford will never make a top, top keeper because he lacks focus, Kean will never be a top defender because he lacks mental strength/pace and Gomes failed at Barca for one reason only: a distinct lack of self confidence. Successful teams are generally littered with strong personalities and leaders; where are Everton's leaders on the pitch? Exactly.

David Moyes used to personally check on players over 20 times before buying them. They had to fit based on character and skill. Do you think that the club still operates to this level of intense scrutiny per player?

The owner is to blame for ALL of this. The revolving door of managers and players and staff will keep happening until they find a proper CEO to run the club and retired the Chairman.

Leaking goals like we do means big trouble...in that moment a Fat Sam is called for!

Keanes lost his confidence big time! We need to try holgate & mina! Gomes not very good defensively still giving needless free kicks away same as last season!

I knew when that penalty was given and the score was 2-2. That the team would fall to bits. The team just gave up. The motivation disappeared. If you were in business you would be sacked. And they look to the manager.

I've just seen Silva's post match press conference. The guy looks very dejected and obviously doesn't have the ability at present to improve us. He's too young and inexperienced. I know the players are at fault too, but the best managers get the best out of their players and, rising above the disappointments, they set and raise the emotional tone of the dressing room. Our mentality appears rock bottom at the moment.

Anyone who thinks we are not in relegation fight needs a reality check

Keane has been our worst player all season looks like giving a goal away every game even last week we got away with a couple of his mistakes

It’s hard to blame Marko as the team are shitbags. But, Marko has no real experience to swing this and neither have all the inexperienced managers we have had with this team. Imo if Mourinho is available I would get him in to install a bit of steal and mental strength

Michael Keane is horrendous. Forget the goals and penalty. All game he’s miles off players, can’t run, can’t turn. He was up against championship strikers who hardly had the ball and he got skinned. He sucks the rest of our defensive players back too cause he can’t pick up. He’s not Everton standard. He’s Burnley quality, 10 men behind the ball and hope the opponent has an off day

It was pathetic display, I’m sick of us pressing in the final 3rd and the ball gets played all the way back to the keeper, seriously you’ve got to keep the pressure on the defence, soon as the ball go backwards they can reorganise and that’s it’s finished, I think people blaming Pickford for the goal from the free kick, talking rubbish, that was a great free kick nothing you could for that, I think most of the players have to be held accountable for that sack of s*** display, Tom Davis I thought was the only one worthy of putting that shirt on today, at least he was battling and fighting and trying to push forward.
