This song is everything. Literally. She's telling the story of how life began, their world was destroyed, they came to travel across the galaxy and settle in other places. The continuation of life. She's singing "the sounds of life, " resonating throughout the universe. It's truly astonishing. I love this anime.

Trigun has to be the most underrated anime from the 90s

It's been at least ten years since I first heard this song and to this day I still catch my self humming it on a frequent basis. The raw feeling exuded by all the music of the Trigun series is what put it at the top of my favorite anime. Well that and the mix of the Old West setting, alien demigod creatures with ion cannons for arms and a main character who would sacrifice everything in order to preserve his ideal vision of peace.
