Level Clipping is a "level effect" that allows you to clip content of a level based on a selected or selection of closed vectors. Level Clipping is a way of hiding parts of the level without permanently cropping the content.

This level effect is perfect for clipping away or none destructively removing parts of 3D content. In this video, we will look at how this level effect works and create two examples of how it can be used to expand the possibilities of your 3D clipart.

How would you use this to remove a inner part of a 3d relief but keep the boundary. I want to keep the outside and get rid part of the inside.

Is there a way to perform the opposite effect? In other words, I have mountains as the background of sign but I want to clear away the center for lettering. Clipping is giving the exact opposite of what I want. The only place the mountains remain is where I want the letters. I want the mountains around the letters. Thanks

how would I go about something like this without getting jagged edges around the lettering? my first try was with a .5mm 5.4* tapered ball nose. and it left bit marks all up the sides of the lettering. please help. I could try a 1/8 straight ballnose, but it wont reach in tight spots. i'm using v-carve desktop 10.5x
