the etude house dr mascara fixer is a godsend for straight lashes too! you put it on before mascara (and after if u want) and it holds the curl and keeps mascara from smudging all day. its like $8

Never start at the base with mascara if you have straight lashes! Always start at the end of the lashes and then go over to the other eye so it can dry and switch eye and work yourself down until you come to the base. And when you come to the base put a very little amount of mascara there because if you are applaying to much on the base the lashes will fall down. All these extra products as mascara base and waterproof products is just uncessary, do this technique, much faster and easier.

best mascara i’ve tried for feathery lashes is the heroine make long & curl! it has super fine fibers that are invisible on the lashes. like the glossier one except they don’t brag about it in marketing idk why

the heroine make super waterproof mascara is amazing, it’s the only mascara that keeps my straight ass asian lashes curled throughout the day. it doesnt even need a mascara base. the only thing is that its a pain to remove but its worth it lol i really recommend it

The canmake quick lash curl base comes in clear and black and works super well too! I use the black lash curl base when I just want a casual look. It lasts so long and is so convenient ☺️

Dang!!! Why cant more youtubers be like you. Point by point directions, explaining why you are doing each step. Description of the products that you are using and links to where to purchase. Get it gurl. One of the best demos I have seen. I'm not Asian but I'm writing everything down...lol!!!

I bought this after seeing this video and I have to say the mascara base really works! I’ve never had lashes stay curled before, I’m truly impressed. If anyone buys this, please remember to scrape access product of the mascara wand and let it sit on your lashes a little so it gets tacky. I put too much product on and my lashes were clumpy, spidery and they didn’t hold their curl up. A little goes a long way! Hope this helps anyone!

Okay real question though. How is your tight-liner not smudging? I find it goes EVERYWHERE for me.

Also, another super amazing mascara I highly recommend is Shiseido MAJOLICA MAJORCA Lash Expander Long Long long Mascara (and what a long name?). It's completely water proof and keeps your lashes curled tight too!

My eyelashes grow straight down as well. I used to fight to have mine curl, but then I decided that I didn't necessarily want to look like everyone else. Now I embrace them! (When not wearing mascara, which is most of the time these days anyways). Thanks for another great video Sarah. xxxx

i'm an asian blessed with naturally long curly lashes i've had my whole life. For people with short lashes out there i suggest using vaseline/petroleum jelly, comb them through and put it on your lash line. I've heard castor oil helps as well. curl them constantly if they are straight. hopefully it helps!
