NEW BO1 ZOMBIES EASTER EGG DISCOVERED: 4412 DAYS LATER!!

11 years later, the community just found a hidden developer Easter Egg in Black Ops 1 Zombies!

Community members RichKiller & ColdStoneTheGamer have recently discovered a new developer Easter Egg hidden within Black Ops 1 Zombies that was remastered for Zombies Chronicles that holds a LOT of super interesting Aether storyline lore and connections to real life conspiracy theories! This was staring right at our faces since BO1 Zombies and was remastered in BO3 for us to see this detail and talk about it! Especially with the developer James Dargie!

This find isn't a EE quest or anything close to the extent as the recent BO4 EE's but this tiny detail was hidden by a single developer in BO1 and then remastered in BO3 for us to notice and it is SO cool to see this influence in the story slotted in SO early in the Aether story! This find wouldn't have been possible without RichKiller & ColdstoneTheGamer so huge shoutout and credit to them for the find and explanation in this video, we just more or less present it in video-form with my own spin on things! Treyarch mixing real world conspiracies into the zombies story will always interest me more than the more fantastical elements they added in bo3. It was alot more eerie and it made me want to discover more and more

Easter egg hunting in waw - bo2 is one of my favorite pastimes. It's crazy how many details all those maps had. You could spend hours just trying to understand a single room. The artists and level designers at Treyarch were just on another level.

The 12 thing is just an old saying of “I’d rather be judged by 12 than carried by 6” meaning you’d rather be judged by a jury and go to jail than have 6 people carry your casket because you died. Just an old saying

6:56 In the United States when you are on trial for a crime there are 12 jurors. If you are dead you will be carried by 6 pallbearers. This quote is referencing self defense in that it's better to kill someone in self defense and have a jury judge you then to let yourself get killed and have your coffin be carried by 6 pallbearers.

6:50 this is actually a play on the phrase "I'd rather be judged by 12 than carried by 6". The 12 is in reference to the 12 members of an American jury while the 6 refers to the 6 people who carry a casket (pallbearer)

I miss the concept of mixing in real world conspiracies or hidden documents with fictional stories. Made it so much fun to theorize and figure things out without being spoon fed. I hope this kind of storytelling is used again.
