Ava also has a boyfriend named JC in the series. There are some really hot visual scenes of Ava with her husband/heteronormative parts, but like in many "sapphic" series, the physical girl-girl level is either just kissing or they don't show much, just hints. Sometimes it even gets awkward. Why? Is hetero better/stronger love/more legitimate to show according to the directors? Why do the directors do this? Are they subconsciously trying to tell you something?
