Wow ok this is the 1st time in awhile I've been impressed.

We can still dream thinking about that perfect adventure and game that is YS VIII with this arrangement, and with others like the sublime for Gendarme. I can say it: i really love the Ys games, they give me a lot of strong emotions and these songs are here to remember me that, while the years pass away from a chapter to another, but these emotions are still vivid in me!

Feels like Jindo really wanted to do the iconic Ys field theme a la T-Square/Masahiro Ando, right down to the EWI lead. It's not as effective as I'd like, partly because the EWI sounds too thin and reedy for the resemblance to work. But I appreciate the direction this one takes.

Listen carefully and you will find that the electric-feeling instrument actually sounds like sax...🤔 That's quite different to the original game i think.

The EWI can get a little overwhelming at times, but I think Jindo and his crew did a great job with this track.


Definitely not as good as Unisuga's original, but still pretty nice!

i've grown to like this arrange tbh. i was just too uncultured to see the t-square reference at the time lol. still wish wasn't slowed down by 11 bpm tho, feels as slow as molasses

Wow this is... really disappointing. Not "ruined forever" but the melody sounds so... toothless, for lack of a better word.
