Dr. Jamie Brown is the medical director of the Heart and Vascular Institute at UM Capital Region Health. He attended medical school at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. He trained at the University of Colorado Anschutz for his residency in general surgery and cardiothoracic surgery.

Dr. Brown developed the cardiac surgery program at UM Capital Region Medical Center to bring world-class cardiac care to the residents of Prince George’s County. As a cardiac surgeon, Dr. Brown treats the full range of heart disease including ischemic, structural and valvular heart disease.
