The cool and light tones do wash me out, so if you do this you can always go in with just a very light touch of bronzer to get some warmth back in there ❤

As a guy who wears makeup, it's very difficult to find videos that accentuate masculine features. This really helped me, and I'll definitely be trying out these techniques. Glad I subscribed, because your content is so good, and not many beauty influencers have made videos on this.

One thing I appreciate about your channel is how it’s straight to the point, with zero bullshit. You just teach real, honest techniques while behaving like your authentic self. I really appreciate it!

Ooooh I would love to see a side by side of feminine contouring next to this masculine contouring

Maybe you do, but in case you don't, THIS is what makes your channel stand out (for me). I always learn something, even if it doesn't apply to me. It's not your typical "here's new makeup..." not that there is anything wrong with that because I follow some of those folks also.
Anywho...that's just one reason your channel stands out!
Happy Sunday!

Okay, so THANK YOU for posting this. As a pre T trans man my facial features make me so uncomfortable and I've attempted this a little bit but it never looked natural enough. Definitely gonna give it another go after this. This was super helpful and accessible, thanks queen ❤

Happy I found this because I’m a woman with very masculine facial features. Far from soft and tiny. Every time I try to soften my face up, it just doesn’t look right. Recently I’ve decided I want to embrace my strong features and accentuate them instead of hiding/changing them. This video helped a lot!! Thank you!!

I’m a little trans guy w soft cheeks and this is super interesting particularly because I originally learnt masculine make up from drag kings for stage make up and this approach is much more simple for when I wanna “pass” better, thank you!

Something else that men use to look more masculine is blush.(especially men in Hollywood, check literally any marvel movie poster and you will never unsee it). I think it can really well shape the face for men, and adds that bit of color that is usually lacking in “masculine” make up routines. it can also be used to give a rugged or chapped look to any part of the skin that sticks out, like a brow bone or a chin.

As a cis woman who likes to play with androgyny, I was happy to learn that I already have most of these “typically” masculine facial features lol.

Oooh as someone that loves androgynous looks I'm really excited for this one!

I'd be completely interested in seeing a, half face of feminine style makeup side by side with half face of masculine style makeup.
As a queer woman, thank you for this. You are the best. I would love to try drag but have never known where to start for just the basics. Thanks you

As a trans woman I would love to see the other side - looking soft, feminine, just to maybe see where should I focus when putting on makeup!

I've been contouring my cheeks and jaw like that for years now. For me it's about the SHARPNESS - I wanna look so sharp I could use myself as a blade in a battle

Alex! This means the absolute world to me. I've been using drag king tutorials, which are great, but can be a bit strong for everyday. This is so helpful and showing every step really helped me figure it out. Thank you so so much for your allyship and teaching <3

As a trans masc I am very grateful that you made this video and explained everything so well. Thank you, this made my day<3 (I use they/them btw)

Edit: I tried it and I liked how it turned out but somehow I ended up in an actual hisoka cosplay.

Thank you for not being afraid and owning your unique look as a way to help a community! Very brave and very beautiful. You made this comfortable and very informative. I will definitely be sharing this so some of my friends in the LGBTQ+ Community. This will help so many people. Maybe this is something you can do on here more often. You have unlocked a unique gift inside of you. I remember you saying that you were in a rut. I always practice giving to others and in that I will find my inspiration. I would say the rut is over. Thank you. Continue doing what you are doing! 😘😘
