I love the quote used. I hate how Guts is blamed for making Griffith get tortured. Instead of chasing after Guts, in reality Guts was a tool. Guts left bc he didn’t want to be a tool and wanted to be Griffith’s equal (what he said who friends of him are to be). Guts has a right as a human being to do what he wants within reason/morality. Griffith assaulted Charlotte but Charlotte eventually went with it. Some people forget that. He used Charlotte to clear his head and is only with her to become part of royalty. At least Charlotte is happy she’s being heard but just bc she’s happy doesn’t excuse what Griffith did in coping. Griffith risked his place during the Golden Age arc and it cost him to be tortured. Guts never chose his hardships and Griffith chose all of his. Never forget that fact
