I have spent 30 minutes on trying to download a simple mod. I havent tried to go for a tutorial, cuz i underastimated the Skyrim MOD community and thought that barely anyone does a tutorial for this. Gosh, i wish i would have searched for a tutorial sooner.
Anyways, thanks for this tutorial! its so short and straight to the point. Very underrated.

Quick Q- the MO2 installer as of 1/14/24 asks you to configure your profile settings, with checkboxes for the following:
1. Use profile-specific game INI files
2. Use profile-specific save games
3. Automatic archive invalidation (this one is checked by default)

What checkboxes would we want to start with? Explanations online were confusing and didn't make sense, but you explain things in a straight-forward way so I figured I'd ask you. Thanks again for all of your videos!

I have skyrim installed on pc xbox app and it doesnt show up when creating a instance

Oh well, I used portable instance. And I have got very far modding Oblivion with this instance, hope it still the right move. I see the difference is portable instance can only used once for one modded game instalation. Because it stores everything in that MO folder. While global one stores files independetly and can manage multiple modded games with just one MO...

after creating a global instance, it says there's no installation found for Skyrim SE but i have it on steam, what do i do?
