There is a lot of debate on the subject of "early to bed, early to rise, makes a man healthy, wealthy and wise." Well, there are a lot of health benefits of waking up early but they are all valid and apply if you take care of your health in the first place. Waking up early is not a health immunity. Also wealth and wisdom don't follow day timings.

So many legendary people are early sleepers and then an equal number are night owls. Here is me starting of an interesting debate on the subject. Would love to know what you think.

HI Priya, it's nice to be listening to you. I have recently discovered you. This video on early risers or late owls, I have my own set of thoughts. But, more than that, I have my experience which I would like to share to make my points clearer:

I have worked in call centre from 2002 to 2011. I started working at at the age of 23 years. My night shifts used to take a toll on me. No matter how much I slept during the day, I was also sleep deprived. That's when I read somewhere I need to work out to stay healthy. Though we all know from childhood I started becoming physically active and going to the gym only I started facing call center pressure. I worked there for 8 years and during this time, I developed health issues. Gained a lot of weight and became BP patient.

Then, in 2011, I joined a bank. Here, I have normal working hours. And I thank GOD every for two simple yet amazing blessing in my life: Early morning rising and having a GOOD NIGHT SLEEP. I must tell you that I am a runner now. I have run half marathons. I covered 1800 kms in 2018. So, I am in good shape now. And I give the credit to my mornings. Getting up in the morning is physiologically correct. As we age, our body is not able to take working nights. The body clock, the outside world everything are so well adapted to the morning rituals that they are just unbeatable.

I do acknowledge the fact that the many creative writers/singers/film makers/ musicians are awake thorugh the night and go to bed by morning 4 am. But, they are exceptions. ANd also, we are talking about creativity. But, its not going to be healthy.

Its certainly not required to be an early riser to be successful. But, it is, for being healthy and successful.

Sadhguru says sleep is not required restfullness is required.
If u do your work with absolute intensity with relaxing at the same time u don't need sleep.
N it also depends upon what food u feed ur self with

Hi Priya.. it's always a pleasure listening to you. I liked the way you explained that if you are a late riser, you must put in some extra efforts to be healthy. OK but what do you think of the Oxygen concentration that decreases as the day pass by. And our body clock is therefore set to be working during day and sleeping on time. What would happen to the metabolism. OK you are aware or you are young enough to see the consequences on your body. But I think since people follow you you must stick to the best rules in life. If the climate and profession allow us, we should stick to the
better routine. I personally think our life span is decreasing because of our unhealthy life style. Nowadays kids keep awaken all night for worthless things. Even studying in morning hours is faster and long lasting, isn't it ?

Mam i m in 10th class.. N i love to study at night coz i have a lot of hobbies to do like singing, playing instruments, photography, also watching cartoon 🙄.. Sry but it is.. 😂 N obviously i can't do these things at night so i study without any distractions at night..
But my mum has restricted me to study at night.. Coz when i just start i take it to 3am.. N really i feel very confident studying for so long and with obviously more focus.. 😅
N she is not at all ready to allow me to study at night n she gave me the reason that i sleep for so long in day when i study late. 😕...
But i can't study in day m really fed up of it..
It took really a lot of time for me to set my schedule... But she totally ruined it😢... I m really so much frustrated..
She said ki bachpan m mne ek baba ko tera hath dikhaya th or voh bole ki ye bacha bde ho k teri baat bilkul ni manega or vhi ho ra h ab to m bilkul ni pdhne dungi raat ko chahe din m bhi na pdhe tu koi frk ni pdta... Meri baat manni pdegi tujhe...

Plz somebody tell me how should i make her understand😭😭😭....

Yea very True, If any one unable to sleep early due to any reasons then he cannot rise early also. It should be according to situations. I have heard about some energetic things in morning air and spiritual benefits too and energy in body. But I could not experience it because I m also a late riser.

Ohh same hear I also sleep late night everyday and wake up early ... it's a matter of choise it's don't affect to my daily routine and I really active whole day actually I sleep only for at least 5 hours a day ... owsm video 💛

I'm agree with you mam. These days I'm working on productivity only. Because it's tough to stick on what you planned. Sometime things goes against us. That's the time where we all needs to act smartly there, rather to make excuses.
