I purposely bought the white sport for the lighter colored aluminum. I also ordered a black sport band. I want the contrast of light colored aluminum with the black sport band.

Apple employee at my local Apple Store: "No, it is not possible to combine the Apple Watch Sport with the leather band, the connectors are different, they won´t fit." Me:"But you can combine the Apple Watch (normal) with the sport bands?"
Employee: "Yes, sure, that´s no Problem."
Me:"So the Connectors fit together?"
Employee:"Yes, of course"
Me:" So why can´t I combine my Apple Watch Sport with a band from the normal Apple Watch?"
Employee: "Ugh, i told you, the connectors are different and won´t fit!"
