Thank God I found few decent folks in the comment section who are aware about the spiraling messed up situation. So heartbreaking.

It is ok to be a woman and not wear makeup and embrace your masculine side, that doesn’t make you a man, or something in the middle. Be proud to be a woman, we all come and think differently from one another and that makes us special. We can’t be defined. Sigh.

This is just another example that people NEED therapy. Everyone who decides to make these changes have gone through trauma and that’s what caused it.

Short hair doesn’t mean masculine long hair doesn’t mean feminine I wish we’d drop that already

being more masculine and not wearing makeup does not equal gender, you can be cis and gender nonconforming

Those kids will be so confused. Having their mom trying to figure itself out on what gender it is and stuff. You chose to make kids young, not their fault, no need to put them through your confusing figure out

I had to buzz my hair due to trichotillomania. I… left it like that now for two years lol. Short hair makes ME personally look more feminine. I think it’s my eyes. Which was so helpful for me because I always felt so boyish. But my gosh it’s so easy, keeps me so cool in the heat, and I just love it lol.

How heartbreaking. Another traumatized woman falling into this nonsense.

I feel like it suits you tbh, like you did give off this certain energy! Personally I'll miss the thick long hair but I'm glad you feel more comfortable.

I bought clippers several years ago and buzz my hair right off. People are freaked out when you’re born female, haven’t figured yourself out until your 40’s, and look like a guy. Hair is hair, clothes are clothes, who cares what we feel comfortable with. Not hurting anyone or trying to change others. Good for you Cam!

Gender affirming? Does that mean you’re transitioning or you don’t identify as a woman anymore? Sorry I’m really confused by the title & what that means

I don’t care, present your self however you want, but please don’t confuse your little daughters with the f pronouns. you gave birth to them, you’re their mother, not a ‘they’

What makes you feel like "they, them"? And not just a "tomboy". Or why do you feel like you have to put a title on it, and not just look at it as you being you and your personal style ?

I did this at 23 on a whim, I decided one day that I wanted a super butchy haircut (I’m a queer woman, typically fairly femme leaning). Luckily I worked as a receptionist at a hair salon, so the next day I had them chop all of my hair off. Then a few days later I went even shorter, like buzz cut short. And bleached my head icy blonde. Sometimes we just want to switch it up, affirm our feelings, and experience all that our body can offer us - including different looks. Your new look is great Cam!!

It’s very sad how people get so bothered and uncomfortable with other people’s appearances 😔 you’re so strong Cam, your kids are lucky to have you!

Do you think you’re a man now? Genuinely curious. Think about your daughters and how confusing this will be for them. I feel really bad for them.

I’m so lost she was straight married to a man I’m assuming her loss made her change I’m not sure if that’s true to self 😢

Hear me out. We don’t have to be non-binary a.k.a. a label just because we’re not girly or manly enough. Why can’t people just like what they like without becoming a label?

Your confidence after the purple dye is shining through! You look great, this really does suit you in a way I never considered before. So great you feel affirmed
