Thank you! I've had such a difficult time understanding this concept. My professor tried explaining it but didn't lay it out in this way. The videos I've seen on youtube focus on x=# calculations so I really appreciate you taking the time to be thorough in explaining this!

Thanks a lot, I was taking a probability class and even though it is a good course it does not explain such an important topic. Thank you for the time and effort.

You explained this so perfectly 😌👌. I was not understanding what my professor was talking about. Like why would I be subtracting all these numbers from 1 to get this other number🤔??? But you really broke it down for me. Thank you 🙏

Hi! Why do we do 1 - P (X=6), can we not just do P(X is less than or equal to 5)? Both give the same answer

Also can we use 1 - P (X=2) for the first example? however this doesn't give the same answer as P(X is less than or equal to 1)

At 5:26, Why couldn't I use Bincdf ~ p(X≤5) and put that into my calculator? I would get the same answer as if I did 1-P(X=6), only not an exact match. The two answers differ by the a few decimal places but the first 3 are the same
