This is the song that made me the most emotional out of their entire discography. I discovered Everything Everything through my at the time fiancé-now husband-around the beginning of last year (2023) and immediately for the first time experienced having a favorite band and right before my birthday they announced a tour in the usa. I had booked flights for the Minneapolis show and bought the tickets the day they went on sale. Exactly one month before the show my brother overdosed and passed away and the only reason i was able to be there to take care of my mother and the arrangements as fast as I was was because i was able to change the tickets and only pay a little to do so. Then when they announced usa tour dates this year I was off on a long ass medical leave. The universe is really violently trying to keep me from seeing them in concert. All this to say when I listened to this song for the first time it hit me so deeply and touched my soul in a way I can't begin to describe. I hope I get to see them in concert one day they have no clue how much their music helped me grieve and just get through my days. 💖
