How to add the prefix or suffix on dimensions in AutoCAD?

Solution:
This feature is controlled by DIMPOST system variable.

It adds the text prefix or suffix or both to the dimension values.

By default its value is None.

And if you add any text then its considered as a suffix.

To add Prefix or suffix or both, we need to use lessthan greaterthan symbols to indicate placement of the text with respect to the dimension value.

If you add lessthan greaterthan symbols before the text then it is considers as suffix.
If you add lessthan greaterthan symbols after the text then it is considerd as prefix.

If you add lessthan greaterthan symbols in between the texts then it is considers for both suffix and prefix.

To reset to default None value please enter dot.
