You had me interested at "They grip the Switch super tightly"! My normal joycons always want to slip off the tablet all the time no matter how lightly i push on them and these seem like they'd be pretty much super glued to it!

What dragged me into this was HD Rumble. I just love HD Rumble in games where it’s implemented and when you use other controllers with regular rumble, they just get crazy noisy because they don’t have subtle changes in rumble. It’s either on or off. It seems to be such a great deal, I can’t wait

They have 3 sets of color faceplates + sticks and dpad, but they're pastel colors

Yeah this one is better than the original switch which is why I don't recommend the switch much, since those switch third party joycons like this one are 100% better because they are fatter and work better than most joycons from Nintendo themselves.

Im looking to get a set to replace my joycons are the latches in the mobapad plastic or metal I couldnt quite tell from that angle of the controllers turned around
