I have the C plate cb and a D plate oc and the D plate shaves vers close bit also very smooth with minimum risk in cuts imo. Very nice razor indeed!

Awesome shave comparison!!! I have both the CB and OC but haven't had a chance to use the open comb yet. Karve is a amazing razor!

According the the Karve webpage, the B plate has neutral exposure, not negative like the A and AA. C or higher shows increasing positive exposure.

Who is the more smooth Rockwell or karve

Does the krave heads fit on a rockwell? I heard they both use a 10 -32 thread. Looking to just get the krave plates(b&c) and putting on my rockwell to save some cash. Your thoughts?

I personally don't like OC at all.
I sold off my D/OC plate. I actually like the F/SB plate better than the D/OC!

My skin just doesn't like the direct blade touch with open combs.

The D/SB is my daily driver.

It's the first time I shaved with open comb today. I didn't think it would be such a big difference. My entire face is covered with scratches. And the blade is all bloody. I didn't know what I was thinking. The internet said it's a closer shave. And I don't see why how z different comb could make such a big difference. But it did. I hope I get better at it' it's like learning to shave all over again
