ONE of these fidget toys is now part of my Everyday Carry (EDC) - but which one? From the affordable to the eye-wateringly expensive for pocket carry and for the desk, I try a selection to see what all the fuss is about.

This channel is here to give you ideas and inspiration when it comes to finding great Everyday Carry, Travel Gear and Gadgets, on the back of solid and detailed reviews alongside years of experience, which I hope will make life and travel just a little bit more frictionless and fun.

Here are links to the products featured. This can consist of Amazon affiliate links (and as an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases) and supplier affiliate links and direct website links. See below for more on affiliate links.

Please note that any prices referred to in the video whilst accurate at the time of recording are likely to change over time.

Product Sourcing:

When it comes to sourcing a product for review, I will usually either  purchase and item personally or reach out to a supplier requesting a sample for review.  Many suppliers are supportive if they are confident in their product, appreciating the value of greater exposure.

I am sometimes sent a product by a supplier which I may include if the product fits planned content and I believe will be of interest to you, my audience. The product needs to be worthy of a review and I always make it clear to the supplier that they cannot influence or be involved in the content in any way. It is not in my interest to review inferior or poor quality products and therefore as you might expect many product offers are politely declined.

Any sponsored videos (paid for reviews) are clearly stated as such so there can be no misunderstanding.

Sometimes a supplier will provide a link to the product or the supplier which I am happy to include in the description.  Sometimes I will be provided with an affiliate link so I can earn a commission on sales and this helps to support channel costs but never at the expense of an honest review. There is no cost to you and in some cases discounts can be obtained via the link or via an included code.

If a product I have reviewed is available from Amazon I will often include an Amazon link in the description.  As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. If you purchase a product or service with the links that I provide I may receive a small commission. There is no additional charge to you.

Replying to Comments:

I really appreciate the feedback in the comments - I find it a source of knowledge and inspiration - so thank you to all of you who take the time to contribute. This is not just for me as the creator, it is a valuable source of information for all readers of the comments. I have recently found that if I continue to respond to all the comments as the number of videos builds, it takes significant time away from being able to produce new content which would be very counter productive! So my aim is to read everything I can and reply when I can, after each video goes live for the first few hours at least, and beyond that when possible. I'll see how that works out 😊

Please consider subscribing and being notified to keep up to date with new video releases.

Thank you for supporting the channel.

My Leatherman T4 doubles as a perfect fidget gadget. I can’t stop opening and closing the tools one-handed—it’s so satisfying!

I don’t get fidget devices. But can appreciate the engineering and artistic skills that went into most of these.

Poor man's fidget tip: Pick up 4 or 5 hematite magnets. Satisfying click-clacks while you shuffle them around each other. You can get a bunch for just a few bucks.

I knew about the existence of these, but I never stoped to think about it. Until fell in a rabbit hole thanks to the yt pl and noticed I that like playing with my lighter and cigarretes while I concentrate the same way. Now I am looking to get some of these to test. Thanks for the video.

Nice video! I've never bought a fidget toy, but I find myself sometimes fiddling with Clip Click pens (push the top in to deploy, push the clip in to retract) as well my Victorinox knives -- toggling the non-blades between halfway open and fully open with my thumb and forefinger. That might be a fun video - a Victorinox tool Fidget Tier List!

This video was more of an eye-opener, than anything I would actually buy, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. I actually have a cheap knock-off of your favourite, the 'poker slider'. I think it cost me around £7.

I have a regular sized ring that I can spin around my finger while also wearing it casually. It's really nice when I have to talk with people for a long time and makes me look more invested than if I was fidgeting with a pen or folding paper haha. Bought it at a clothing store for like 8 euros

Cracking video, as always. Fun fact, if you are a touch more gentle with the haptic coin (the milk bottle top one) you can get the magnets to snap and make a much more satisfying audible sound.
I have a cheap knock off one (because I lose things) and it’s almost always in my pocket - quieter fidget at work, loud snappy fidget everywhere else.

You've missed 1 of the simplest yet really satisfying adult toys, a machined spinning top. For a while i was collecting them and carrying them around with me.

Hi Jon, another Jon here who happens to really enjoy your videos! I've seen the kk Lautie shuffle for a while but I just can't seem to justify the price point for me. I've seen knock off ones on Amazon and other retailers. Have you tried them out before? Do you happen to know of a similar fidgit at a price point of 50 pounds. Cheers!

As a severe adhd stimmer, i can attest to fidget items improving mental clarity. But i find that the item in question needs to have practical utility and see regular use toward completing tasks throughout the day. My silent clicking pen has been my go to

Those look very nice. Out of all of them, I have the ONO roller. It’s very smooth in use and is GREAT for working out cramps in your hands if you’ve been using them for a long time.

Some other items I use as fidgets: a pack of waterproof cards, spinner rings, beaded jewelry, and small ratchet wrenches. Magnetic fidgets and the usual spinners just don’t appeal to me for some reason.
