Never, ever ask how Sanders will pay for his plan again. Fed can come up with 1.5 trillion in blink of an eye to help bankers out. End the lies! Take care of the people.

In Italy we stay at home from work and will receive our salary; all the small businesses that will struggle because of the virus are receiving help from the government so they can survive and eventually recover; all the mortgages have been frozen until people are able to work again; the testing and treatments are free; because of how the government has acted we know we can recover from this crisis. This is how it should be. I’m proud of my country 🇮🇹

I pay 400 dollars a month for health insurance. I never go to the doctor because I still can't afford the copay and deductable. These insurance companies are robbing me! Wake up Americans!

Bernie’s speech was a breath of fresh air. This is what I want my President to be talking about!

I became a committed ‘socialist’ after hearing a speech explaining socialism in terms of:
Your zip code should not be a determining factor in the healthcare or education you have access to;
Welfare payments are a hand up, not a hand out. Someone earning in excess of $100k does not need welfare;
Healthcare, education, a decent standard of living, housing, a decent minimum wage, a safety net for people in trouble, clean water and opportunity for all of the above should be basic human rights, not a privilege .

Stop confusing socialism with communism, they are two very different systems.

It is insane, how some Americans oppose the universal health care right. It is totally ideological.

Maybe the Coronavirus pandemic will help Bernie Sanders because people will start to realize @ least for the time being that we need universal health care & paid time off. As a result, the pandemic could bite Joe Biden in the ass & take away his momentum. What does everyone think about this hypothesis?

This is funny, but not in as haha funny way. Just days ago, a woman in Facebook asked how it could be possible that up to 150 million Americans could potentially contract the disease.
When I explained that the lack of universal healthcare is the reason, and laid out why, her response was, 'you just want socialized medicine, ' without considering the arguments I laid out to her.
I explained how uninsured won't be able to get tested, insured won't always have the co-pays, etc... she dismissed my arguments saying that they were weak.
She added that she wants to live in a 'free' country. I asked her how not having access to healthcare is a demonstration of living in a free country.
I then pointed out to her that I lived in Germany for nearly 17 years, and understand universal healthcare much better than she does.
Of course, her reaction was, 'then go live in Germany!. I want my freedim!' as if germans do no thg enjoy freedom.
I asked her if she understood what socialism, capitalism, communism, etc. are, and suggested she has no clue.
I told her to get back to me when she has educated herself, rather than does FOX rhetoric.
The thread has since been deleted from FB.
I am 61, and she is also in that age group. They are a bunch of brain-washed morons.
My favorite response from these people is when they say colleges an universities are left-wing indoctrination centers.
Yep, being educated in this country is viewed with negativity and derision from the right-wing.

It is always a pleasure to hear Bernie speak. No flubs, no nonsense, no faking it. He is a very smart man, and after trump, America deserves a smart president.

I have always said the hate on Bernie, is not even really his policies. Its that he cannot be controlled, and he sparked in others to stand up for what they believe in, that scares them deeply.

This actually makes me cry. We could have this man running the Country that could help us. But no we want to go down the same path we are already been down that didn’t turn out well.

My company insurance: 200 dollars every two weeks.
Annual deductible, in network 1000 dollars
Annual out of pocket 3000 dollars.
On 10.50 an hour. That's not counting copays. I'm not looking for a handout, just a fair shake...
