Payment-for-order-flow has been blatantly abused in the exploitation of the average retail investor, and that is the real issue. They’ve fawked-up and now the rat is out-of-the-bag! 🐀

I was on vacation for a week and barely looking at my phone/computer, so just catching up on your last week worth of videos now :)

Tom Nash 🌞 sunshine to my ears. PFOF banned in Canada as well. "Free Trading" (National Bank) is becoming more accessible without cheap market maker souvenir "Order Flow" component. Yay Tom and shout out to the knowledgeable Patrick Boyle 🔥🔥🔥

This PFOF is why I switched my accounts to Fidelity!
Anything that Maddoff had to do with was corrupt! 🤬👎

I feel like I heard this last year on the Keiser Report, except he explained it as selling Order Flow data was basically getting Citadel to front run every retail trade by milliseconds.

NO, it's not an urban legend! There would be no incentive for this much volume if there was no PFOF! Duhh!

Tom, thanks for the vid. PFOF is another example of the cheapest man spending the most money to accomplish the same task while believing he is getting a bargain.

I just came back from a two week vacation to Washington state. The first since covid times. Beautiful weather. Fabulous fish. Great hiking. Great food and wine. Legal weed.

I think the way it is now is fine for most investors. For day traders with high volume then maybe the .003 cent difference per share would matter more. Without commissions I can add a few shares here and there to my favorite stocks when there's dips. There's also direct access brokers out there. I hope they don't change things back.

Also there is the problem of the mega brokerages know what everyone is trading....people set up their buys and sells before going to work or going to 20, 000 people want to buy AMC tomorrow....so the big funds buy some options to mirror the is like playing poker and everyone is showing their cards...except the dealer

PFOF is not evil in itself but it does screw over the retail investors. These middle men have sucked the markets dry for centuries. Toll collectors, market duties and all kinds of other fees have always been a thorn in the side of regular traders. Look at all the wasted value in this process. It’s like you Grandpa having some vodka shots and spilling a bit on every single pour.
