More historic flooding will ravage the central U.S. into the weekend. Seven million Americans are at risk from rising rivers. Adriana Diaz reports.

Each weekday morning, "CBS This Morning" co-hosts Gayle King, Anthony Mason and Tony Dokoupil deliver two hours of original reporting, breaking news and top-level newsmaker interviews in an engaging and informative format that challenges the norm in network morning news programs. The broadcast has earned a prestigious Peabody Award, a Polk Award, four News & Documentary Emmys, three Daytime Emmys and the 2017 Edward R. Murrow Award for Best Newscast. The broadcast was also honored with an Alfred I. duPont-Columbia Award as part of CBS News division-wide coverage of the shootings at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut. America; where houses are literally built everywhere regardless of where is more susceptible for flooding and tornados and where is not.

Levees right on the river bank make the problem worse, build them a mile away from the river to protect farmland, but not in excess, build houses and buildings in flood plains on stilts or something to elevate it

Settlers: let’s build a town here!

And these people will move right back into town and rebuild, without taking a darn step to improve how they deal with late spring flooding.

Mother Nature's wrath Not the best comment but you live in an eluvial flood plain what do you expect. I'm not helping you fix it. Perhaps a gov buy out 25 cents on the dollar and you move to a mountain house.
