**1000 FACES** Where Are You On The 1-10 Looks Scale?

In this video, I provide data from 1000 guys faces, showing what ratings they received, how it's distributed against the 1-10 scale and how factors such as body type and balding impact the data.

I am aware there are possible biases in the data (here is a list):
1. Slightly unattractive guys may be more likely to buy a rating if they’re self-conscious of their appearance
2. Very unattractive guys may be less likely to buy ratings as they already know what the deal is
3. My ratings are objectively subjective which could affect the data
4. Followers of this channel probably take looksmaxxing more seriously
5. Followers of this channel may be more self-conscious of their appearance
6. People with excess funds are more likely to buy a rating, therefore concentrating the consumer base from rich countries/neighbourhoods, which could also affect the data
With these things taken into account, I still believe the data is accurate as there are factors that could both positively and negatively affect the results. So in theory they should cancel each other out.

Food for thought. Technically speaking the data is somewhat biased due to the data collection method as people who go for your rating already suspect that they might not look as good (i.e. less success in dating). So your sample will miss out on more subjects that are naturally attractive, as they would not pick up your services or watch this channel.

I got rated a 7 by wheat waffles. As an experiment, I set up a tinder profile with the same pics I sent him. It's only been a week - I only match overweight/homely women and have yet to match with a women who is objectively "cute" (5/10+). and that's with using all my swipes the past 7 days. Let that sink in folks.

This proves that in online dating (at least tinder), women shoot a full 3-4+ points above their ranking as "minimum necessary" for a match.

EDIT: Went through a full photo optimization, finally matching with fairly attractive women consistenly. better luck on bumble though. I probably look like an ~8 in my photos. 8-threshold theory is legit. matches shot through the roof.

I feel like another important factor to consider is height. I feel like a part 2 of this would be very helpful to determine how much height effects attractiveness. Does being short really matter and is their a point where being too tall starts to effect negatively? Hopefully someone sees this!

I feel like when it comes to the statement “guys age like fine wine, ” that would only apply if 1) you have godly genetics or 2)you take care of yourself when it comes to diet, exercise, sleep and overall lifestyle throughout your life to prevent things such as weigh gain and possible health affects that effect your physical attraction.

That's interesting is that no matter where you fall on the scale, everyone is sliding down it. In my 20's I was about an 8, and then time ticked on and I slid down it, and at 52 I am sub 3. Everyone is the same, even if they are a "10" right now. It's all temporary, so enjoy it while you have it, and know it's all temporary so don't get attached to it.

A comment on the ethnicity factor: the weighting of it heavily depends on the ethnicity of the woman on the other side.

As a women I’d say those two “8” above were not really and 8 and a lot of those 5, 6, and 7 were either higher or lower by a point or two.

Have you segmented attractiveness based on geo regions of the world? As an Asian man, going back to Asia usually upped my chances to score very attractive encounters but in the western world (EU and North America) is like pulling teeth. Asian is somehow more accepted in LATAM due to the population of KPop and can score higher level females due to some other biases not present in South America.

You also have to take into account not everyone in these categories is equal. Everyone in these categories has different ceilings For example you told me I’m a 5 because of some flaws that are fixable through soft looksmaxing and that I was basically only those things away from being an “easy 6”. Where as the guy who was a 3 that has looksmaxed his way to a 5 has 5 as the ceiling. For example a 4 or 5 with slight recession of hairline and really bad acne, a bad hair cut (etc) may have a much easier time looks maxing to a 6 or 7 than a 5 that has NCT, a sub par jaw etc, which might mean 5 is his peak. 3 that’s a 3 because he’s overweight will have a much easier time getting to average tier than a 3 that’s a 3 because he has significant facial flaws.

I thought theory 2 made the most sense. Some of the faces you rated low weren't that bad looking in my opinion. And some you rated highly weren't that attractive. Just goes to show that beauty is pretty subjective.

The reason only so few guys over 40 have bought your program is that, fewer guys at 40 whether average or above average are still preoccupied with this topic and are either settled down with a wife or are divorced with kids. And the small number that do watch these videos are on the spectrum (and not in a good way like a genius) and it becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy of circular reasoning.

So I have a science degree and I have a couple of notes.

1) The 1-10 scale that you're using is actually a 2-8 scale. Why? You said that 9 and 10 imply perfection but really it's just 10 that implies perfection and by making the decision to not asign any 9's you're skewing the average to the lower end of the scale.

2) When people wonder about where they are on a scale from 1-10, they're wondering where their potential sexual partners would rate them. This video is just about what you find attractive in men. To get insight into what women find attractive in men, you should have these men rated from 1-10 by a reasonably large group of women, who are reprosentative of the general public, and then use the average rating of each of these men in your analysis.

3) You say that 5/10 is "often considered the minimum level that you need before you even start thinking of trying your luck in the dating game." I think something you should have added into your data collection was whether or not the people who you were rating were currently in a romantic relationship. The statements that you have made in this video would imply that the majority of men are unable to find a romantic/sexual partner. I believe that if you were to test that hypothesis you would find it inaccurate.
