Another playlist with time stamps for this equally fantastic album! I notice you went in with more "game-y" songs this time, which makes sense, given they're for an actual TTRPG! Pretty cool stuff! I guess I don't need to ask which song would play where this time! Well, for the most part at least.

1 - new game 0:00
2 - character creation 2:26
3 - pale blue eye 6:30
4 - an empty world 12:49
5 - encounter II 17:18
6 - dead accounts 21:32
7 - teleportation sickness 27:25
8 - music for caves 30:45
9 - hands to hold me 36:47
10 - forest 41:06
11 - dungeon I 46:15
12 - tired eyes 49:53
13 - dungeon II 53:21

I"m genuinely surprised at how much I'm enjoying this album. I feel thoroughly immersed in another person's dream. This actually really makes me want to play Lacuna again, which is strong praise in my eyes. Well done!

Been reading the KS details and I quite like the merging of concepts, blurring the lines between immersion in the game, playing a player that plays the game, playing a character that plays in the game, fully aware of the lines, but strives to ignore them. Very clever idea for a TTRPG. Will be reading up on that playtest doc.

Reading the synopsis, it hits on a concept that Gygax stressed in the Advanced 1e D&D DMG of 1:1 time keeping and records. Players have a session and meet up later, while other players play in the same world in-between, possibly finding the same scenario and altering the objectives of the other returning group(s), etc.

Some may know the play-style by other names, but in a weird way, Gygax sort of foreshadowed the MMO electronic concept to occur decades later (which is why I like the concept of .dungeon: it's an homage to the old editions, even if it does not intend to be).

I hope the book has lots of ASCII art. Want to feel like I'm reading an old BBS server in all its monochromatic glory.

I'm going to be listening to 2. Character Creation all year.

I got an email about the updated .dungeon system, and I've never felt more inspired then ever to just do something. So I've decided to use it as a base and set up a classic text MUD-like RPG for my friends in discord. Sorta low commitment style RPGing in threads/forum replies without having to schedule sessions. It's been a blast getting it all set up.

Thank you for making this.
