I love Full Moon Pictures films but I actually never watched any of the Trancers films. I do have many Full Moon films on dvds like Subspecies films and have all of the Pupper Master films in the boxset.

You know I would not be surprised if down the road it does get a blu ray release if the right company put it out and wanted to spend time on it and clean it up. I can understand yeah the widescreen thing is kind of a bummer. But, now this is me I just take what I can get. It is like the Subspieces set from the same company I just am happy that it is out there.

"Dry hair's for squids!" Love Trancers....one of the very best SCIFI films of the 80's...never seen the sequels beyond part 3..so i think i will invest in this box set. I heard that Tim Thomerson used to be a stand up comic, would love to see one of his sets! Love your reviews Mike, straight to the point, no BS and you clearly love your subject.
On a slightly different note, do you like the films of Sam Pekinpah? In which case whats your fave?

nice review yeah the only transfer I thought was really not as great as the others was the first film. But it was still a easy watch. I did not even notice that about the main menu. Well done mike.

Man I watched Trancers so many times as a kid on HBO it's not even funny! Thomerson is the man!

Yeah the full screen does suck I have never been happy with the cover art even the poster art . You would think that the movie would look more like that.

Cheers Wolfman, i checked it out, nice review, i thought two and three were a bit ropey, but four and five sound very whack! But as a Tim Thomerson fan i will still check them out.
