"EV was the first system to use different sets of coefficients for encoding and decoding. Most other systems have decode coefficients that mirror the encode coefficients. Therefore the EV Stereo-4 was something in between a 2-2-4 simulated system and a 4-2-4 matrix system. The original EV system was compatible with the QS system."

If you don't have a vintage EV-4 / QS decoder, this works Extremely well with a Dolby Pro Logic 2 Decoder in Music mode

Was testing this in my car... It worked... But this sound transported me and my car into a higher dimension

Ran this through the regular matrix decoder in my Toshiba reveiver. Love the swirly effect this gives when it speeds up.
