In this video we take a brief look at some of the basics of working with Flash Video. WE convert to the FLV format, learn some way of transforming the video, including, using the new 3d Rotate tool, we also make a simple stop and play button setup. Enjoy!

@Ratchet250 you can use PhotoShop to cut out those pieces, make sure you are using a transparent background and save the picture as a .png file to make sure the transparency consists

What's the coding to make it so when you initially open the swf the video won't be playing? (so you have to push the play button to play it)

I want to play both swf files and flv files on my site. I have some Flash animation as well as video I want to display in my website. I have some buttons created to load empty movie clip (I'm using CS3 and AS 2.0). I can get the swf files to play, but I can't get the flv to play when you click a button. I then have the whole thing embedded into my html. This tutorial is close to what I want to achieve, but not quite. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
