Growth companies are more risky especially when they aren't profitable yet.
You can be better off but you better know that company more then just its name and marketing

Problem is how do you know you are paying fair price? You can't. It's subjective. For you, PE of 150 for a 10% growth sounds expensive, however some institutions will have information that will make PE 200 companies cheaper.
