Why does the prophecy need Rhaenyra to be on the iron throne, though? The one who will carry on her line, (Visereys II) is already born. Therefore, she doesn't need to be kept alive to give birth to him, a la Sarah Connor. Viserys gets the throne, indirectly through her half brother, Aegon II. So either way her line continues. The only reason she needs to be on the throne is because she's the rightful heir.
