I-6 F2 technology

I-6 F2 is the second of Inmarsat's I-6 satellites. Designed and manufactured by Airbus Defence and Space in the UK, each spacecraft is larger than a double decker bus with the wingspan equivalent of a Boeing 767 wingspan, and set to deliver twice the capacity and power of our previous satellites. The I-6s will connect more people in more places end enabling new solutions for new markets into the 2040s and beyond.
