Ukrainians call on mobilised Russians to turn against 'psycho' Putin | Life on the frontline

Jack Ross is a volunteer aid worker leading a British humanitarian group that delivers essential food and medical supplies to civilians living amid constant shelling on the Ukrainian frontline.

He and the other members of Vans Without Borders brave countless dangers as they travel along bombed-out roads.

As the humanitarian group give out aid in the recently liberated city of Lyman in Donetsk they encounter Ukrainian servicemen who fought in a counteroffensive and successfully liberated, Kherson and parts of Donetsk from Russia.

These soldiers are frustrated with the ‘lies’ and ‘brainwashing’ Putin has fed to the Russian population to mobilise troops to Ukraine.

“[Putin] is a piece of s—-, a human who really lies to the Russian citizens.”Said Ukrainian serviceman, Vinnie. Adding: “He talks about them fighting against Neo-Nazis but it's real trash talk. No one here is a Neo-Nazi we are just people who are living our lives.”

There need to be a thousand good people like him. My husband and I keep donating for humanitarian needs and military as well, because victory will bring lasting relief.
