About Life Below Zero:
Life Below Zero follows six people as they battle for the most basic necessities in the state with the lowest population density in the United States. Living at the ends of the world's loneliest roads and subsisting off the rugged Alaskan bush, they battle whiteout snow storms, man-eating carnivores, questionable frozen terrain, and limited resources through a long and bitter winter. Some of them are lone wolves; others have their families beside them. All must overcome despairing odds to brave the wild and survive through to the spring. And when spring arrives in Alaska, rising temperatures bring mounting challenges as they work to prepare for yet another winter.

You gotta respect these people for not taking the easy way of life that most of us do. Not that a traditional way of life doesn't come with its own challenges, but you get the point Im trying to make!

The first rule of any logging is have your tools you need with you and use them in this case a wedge nothing fancy just a wooden one would do and if placed in the top of the cut you could save a chain and even the bar

I am very excited to go and live here.

I really want to know about the nature here and get an idea about the diversity of people's living and life.

In Next Generation I am the one who stands on one leg to go here.

Very interesting, and am glad you are partners that want the same thing
But if you read this
I would like to make a suggestion for you to think about
May save your life when out wth the dogs

That sled, think of how you can make a simple set up so if you fall off or come lose of the sled,
You have an automatic drag brake that deploys easy, that you can control with your hands,
Posibly a bar that goes across the handle you have so either and both hand are on it
And when both hands come off the sled handle
This bar a very light one drops and drags or releases a drag brake into the snow
Not sure if that would be something to think about
Or something that your feet and hands must be on the sled at ll times, and when they are off, you have a drag bar under the sled that comes down and brakes
Now hear is another option,
Not sure if you would want to embrass it
The dogs are trained to go, and how do you stop them in an mergency?
An electric collar may be needed,
And train the dogs when they are running wild and with go,
you crry a remote control to give them a shok that thy have learned to stop,

But next time you get dogs
Make sure they are very young
and teach them to stop when you use a verbal command
Dogs can be trained to be very obedient
Spend time with them, and it's called obedience training
Lots of books available and lso on the computer if you hav such,

unfortunately those dogs are not trained for anything except pulling
A dog well trained will never be needed to be chained up
