Winter Veil 2017: Elixir of Rapid Mind Removed? (WoW Gold Guide)

Potentially big news! It appears that the Elixir of Rapid Mind has been removed from WoW and the Christmas event boxes, the Winter Veil 2017 Savage Gifts.
If no one has bought them all off your server's Auction House already, my recommendation is to spend half (NOT ALL) of your gold on these, hang on to them, and start selling the Elixir of Rapid Mind around summer time when everyone goes alt crazy.

Some notes.. Correct me if I am wrong but isn't there a feat of strength for being a world/realm first to level to max level with new races & classes? Which with the new 6 coming in the upcoming expansion you are correct there will be a number of people paying top gold for the elixirs if they really have been removed. I used to get mine from both cross server hopping killing Krol and my garrison missions. It has been a while since I have farmed em and would like to get a definite on if they really have been removed. Then hopefully like mentioned below Blizz will just let us use them/trade them up still in the next expansion rather then turning them into grey useless items for gold. I think your right, time to buy em.

There comes a certain price point where returning players would rather just buy a character boost than spending hundreds of thousands on these pots. Something to think about...

I don't know if this is true but all of a sudden a few dozen elixirs showed up on the AH ever since the scaling fix. not sure whether people are getting them or if people are just posting old ones but before that there was zero and all of a sudden there's 2 dozen

You had good foresight - these are going for around 70k on my server now. They may be valuable for collectors and people trying to race to level up in the future.

It should be mentioned that buying these for a bunch of gold is a HUGE RISK. Yes you could make a mountain of gold but you could also lose every bit if they become vendor trash. Blizzard has 1. A history of just making items like this go away and 2. Said in several tweets and articles that they want to make leveling count again and not just be some thing that people speed through. If you have these left over from last year then yes hanging on to them for a bit could prove to be a winfall, but if you spend 300k per and expect to double or triple your gold you could end up with 50 silver vendor trash.

Didn't see this and just came back to wow, had 4 of them and put them up on AH. Only 2 sold but I now have ~200k which is way more than I'd ever had before.

Might as well use your gold to buy a boost. I definitely wouldn't buy a potion for 300k plus if it's only going to get me halfway there. Spend twice that and just get a boost.

I have a little note pad from a few years ago where I tracked how much I bought these potions for. I did not keep track of the dates - but the lowest price I have is 1500g. I currently have 65 on my bank toon. Score.

If a token is about 200k or $20 and people are trying to charge more then a token it would be smarter to just buy a Refer a Friend account and level tons of toons for free versus 15 mins of an elixir. I hope people realize this before they waste gold on those things. I will be sure to remind players in trade chat.

Is it me or the video has 3x lower sound than your other videos? I had to amp the volume to the max and then auto play started another of your vids and it was much louder. This is defo quieter than your usual content.
