Just watched this for the first time tonight. Needless to say, it won't be the last. Just wow. What an intense film, with just incredible audio. Watch this film with the best surround sound system you can get your hands on! 10/10.

Just watched tonight on Netflix. Oh my god. As a drummer and jazz fan this was utterly incredible to watch. I cried at points. I was standing at points. It's is so incredibly well shot and edited and every performance is exceptional. Top 20 movies for me.

I haven’t yet actually seen the whole movie but seeing its trailer serves me like some sort of reminder. This movie to me is like looking at a mirror image. Since Adam I have always lived in torment even up to this day at an old age of 50 ( probably getting worse by the year as I age) Just one in the crowd of many among the less fortunate. Deprived of pride, rights, privileges, RESPECT, with no more room for principles. A life where right nor wrong no longer matters. Where humility goes down to even beyond its minimum LOWEST.

Such an intense piece of art ! Whiplash is certainly one of the best motivational films of all time. It covers literally all aspects of life to achieve greatness in a goal be it dedication, persistence, failure, resilience and what not. Hands down to the team 💯

Whiplash shows a school of motivation that is exaggerated and dramatized for effect, and the problem of people liking it and applying it in their lives is that too much pressure can break a person beyond repair - of course there are unique talents who don't break, but you can definitely and certainly achieve better results and full potential with a calmer approach to things, with most people. And if your argument is "the best players are only created through pain" this is simply not true. Most of the amazing musicians were not abused
