Where does HIV Rash Appear ?? - Skin Conditions Associated with HIV
Due to a recent HIV infection, an HIV rash might develop; it typically manifests two to six weeks after exposure. This rash may also accompany other symptoms, such as flu-like symptoms, including fever, chills, and body pains.
This rash has both papules and macules, making it a maculopapular rash. In contrast to an abscess, which is a little raised hump, a macule is a flat and discolored patch of the skin.
