One of the best Chinese animated movies in 2019. It’s a prequel to the classic White Snake story. Different time, original story yet connecting well to the classic story. Highly recommended.

I really love how Asians make really strong BUT FEMININE female leads. I hate how westerners always have to make the girl masculine to fight or if theyre beautiful and dainty, they're just damsels. Why can't it be both sometimes like here.
