Say you have 100 clips on the top and start pulling them down, how do you keep track of if you've used the clip previously?

Is it possible to move individual clips to the timeline or only 'in' and 'out' points?
Currently, I am using the 'mark clip' keyboard shortcut first and then 'insert', but was wondering if its possible to skip that step.

Interesting how you sell that shitty workaround as an actual feature.
