Finally, we also ask you to continue supporting your local parishes. Thank you and God bless you!

🙏 See below for the Act of Spiritual Communion:

My Jesus,
I believe that You
are present in the Most Holy Sacrament.
I love You above all things,
and I desire to receive You into my soul.
Since I cannot at this moment
receive You sacramentally,
come at least spiritually into my heart. I embrace You as if You were already there and unite myself wholly to You. Never permit me to be separated from You.

Amen.

Sorry to comment but this series about Japanese Catholicism has been outstanding. I have had a passion for Asian religion and culture my whole life and this speaks to me.

Although I went to mass in my parish church, I tuned in just so I could hear Father's homily. He is so inspiring.

Am not going to Mass in person today because I am staying late at work to meet critical human needs. Hoping to share God with my residents as is appropriate.

Dear Father Mike - only time will tell but this may be one of the most important homilies of your life. Your courage and clarity is surely inspired and therefore brings us great inspiration. Thank you.

One of your most powerful homilies ever Fr Schmidt.. I sent this to our kids and their families too.. I read the book ‘ The Bells of Nagasaki’ some years ago, actual firsthand accounts of on the ground aftermath in detail as your description of the suffering.. prayers for all those affected back then.. And please pray for my dear wife as she suffers from hard Dementia

Your homily was so touching & to the heart. It made me weep. It was true & perfect. My Lenten Valley is developing a stronger prayer life. Training myself. Thank you very much.

Wow, Fr Mike, You have topped yourself today with today's beautiful homily highlighting the enduring power of faith and forgiveness.
I had the sniffles today, and didn't want to spread it, but I've been blessed to be able to hear your life-affirming words.

Fr. Mike Schmitz- Thank you for a great homily about the power of faith in times of struggling.

Can you do a homily about surviving abuse? My faith is very, very, very slowly coming back to baby Jesus through Mommy Mary. 🙏
